Described as 'Little England' and part of this well deserved reputation is based upon the diversity and character of its towns and villages. From the market town of Newport to the stylish port of Cowes, each place is unique and well worth a stop whilst on your holiday.

Quaint rural  villages pepper the countryside (most with a fine pub at the centre) whilst the majority of larger towns are situated on the eastern side.
